1) Tell us about your book - Imogene and the Pacific Kingdom
Imogene of the Pacific Kingdom is the first novel I've written - as such, it will always have a special place in my heart.
2) How long have you been writing and what inspired you to become an author?
When my children were small, they were slightly reluctant to read, and writing a story for them inspired me to become an author. That was twelve years ago!
3) Do you write in one genre or several?
I thoroughly enjoy writing for children and young adults - however the young adult novels I've written have been enjoyed by children of all ages, adults included.
4) Who are your favorite writers?
I have so many favourite writers; C.S. Lewis, Jean M. Auel, James A. Michener, Ann Rule, Stephen King, to name a few.
5) What future books do you have planned?
My illustrator is currently working on the cover for my second novel, Dager of the Tasman Empire, and it is due for release in time for Christmas, 2015. Jaylen of the Surface is currently in the works, and this will be the third novel, publication date as of yet undetermined - my website and Facebook pages will be updated accordingly!
