The Morrigan is the Celtic Goddess of War, Fate and Death. Her name means Phantom Queen and she has the ability to shape shift usually taking the form of a raven or a crow.
She is similar to the Valkyrie's of Norse legend, appearing over battlefields and deciding who will live and who will die. She is sometimes depicted as having two sisters and represents the triple Goddess.
